Technical & cultural tour

At the end of Wednesday, September 6, the Research Center of the University of Agronomical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest will be visited, located on the University Campus very close to the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. On Friday, September 8, at 8 o’clock in the morning, it will be done to leave by bus for the Targu Secuiesc Potato Research and Development Station, Covasna County( 238 km at the base of the Carpathian Mountains). On the way, we will visit a farm for the production of vegetables in the greenhouse, the research institute for viticulture and winemaking, the famous mountain resort of Sinaia (“Pearl of the Carpathians”) with the Royal Castle Peles. Accommodation will be in Targu Secuiesc, Covasna. On Saturday morning, September 9, at 8 o’clock, it will be done to leave for the Targu Secuiesc Potato Research and Development Station. The return to Bucharest will be made after a short stop to visit the castle of the legendary Dracula – King Vlad the Impaler (Bran Castle).

For those who want to leave on the same day by plane, the arrival at Henri Coandă – Otopeni airport is expected around 18:00 PM and for those who want to stay in Bucharest, the arrival at the AAFS/UASVM location is around 19:00 P.M.
